Happy Monday!

Thinking a lot about going back to "Meatless Monday"s again.  I think it's a good way to start the week.  It's really something that I am conflicted about.  I know that I can go without eating meat for extensive periods of time - I've done that.  And most times when dining out my choices will be meatless for the most part.  I think just the idea of limiting myself is the difficult part.  It's something that you need to come to terms with in your own head. 

Any thoughts?


  1. I tried to do it on Fridays and it worked, mabe because of the "catholic thing" Friday was easy to do,who knows. I think I'd like to try it because I'd like something different for a change.

  2. I think you have to do whats best for you. Lots of people find that MM fits into their menu planning schedule or is a helpful reminder to cut back. If you're already not eating all that much meat though it may just be one more complexity.

    You should check out some of the recipes on the MM site if you haven't already (for Monday or any other day). I happen to know that they are very carefully picked based on both nutrition and taste. ;)
